If you want to pull colors from the other images, follow step c) by hiding the other three images and select the one you want to pick the colors from and repeat the process. Then, go back and repeat the process until you have completed your color palette. Go to the color palette layer (top right corner) and tap onto the first empty box in the new color palette section to drop the color in. Tap and move the circle on the image to pick a color. Now, you can eye-drop the colors from the image, go to the ‘square box on the left bar to enable a circle on the image. Hit the ‘+’ sign to start a new palette and rename it. Go to the Color Panel on the top right corner. Then, hide all of the other three layers. On the top left corner, click on the wrench icon and hit ‘Insert a Photo’ĭeselect it and then, repeat step a) for the second, third and fourth images. Our color palette will be derived from them. You can either use all 4 palettes to create your own or just work off of one of these and work with a tighter, smaller palette. You can have a color palette automatically derived from the exact colors of the photo you’re inspired by. There are other tools that you can use to automatically generate colors off of the picture ( Canva) or explore the most popular color palettes ( Coolors) Procreate can save you time in making a color palette. Pick 1-4 palettes from based on what you are painting and take a screenshot of each. One of my favorite places on Instagram to find inspiration for color palettes is Their posts are inspired by movies and the color palettes are generated off of them.
